Jaden was invited to attend an after school (UIL) storytelling program every Tuesday for the last 2 months. From there she was judged and chosen as 1 0f 3 kids to represent her Elementary school at the district competition. This past Saturday she competed ( all day, I might add, Ty was a trooper) at a local high school against all of the Elementary schools in the district. After making it past the first round of elimination, Jaden came up big winning 2nd place overall in the district! We are very proud of Jaden and her hard work. Unfortunately, they never allowed us to see her in action. We wish we could have been a fly on the wall.

So, tell me more about Jaden's story competition. Did she write her own story? Did she have to read it for the judges? We would like to hear her award-winning story!
